Soprano Ileana Montalbetti, with pianist Kathleen Lohrenz Gable, gave a
vocal recital on Friday, January 5, at 7:30 p.m., at Grace-Westminster
United Church. Ms. Montalbetti, a Saskatoon native well-known to opera
aficionados in the city, currently resides in Toronto. Ms. Gable,
collaborative pianist and vocal coach, teaches piano privately and at
the University of Saskatchewan. The recital of songs and arias was
warmly received; the program appears below.
